Students.....other days with Class 3

We teach 24 classes of "senior one" students, but Class Three
is the class with whom we naturally spend the most time.  Qing is the home-room teacher for this wonderful class of kids!
Our students will graduate from this high school in 2013.
The students decorate their classrooms.....often meaningfully!
SOME  of the 56 students in the class!

For one competition, Wendy sang: "Hello, Seattle", beautifully!

**Seattle is the only sister-city of Chongqing, in America, by the way!!

We spent one day visiting some of the city's high-lights with the students.

The Monorail:
Seattle introduced the monorail idea at its World's Fair.
China has since run with the idea!!

POLICE
Small, easily-movable "police stands" are located throughout the city.  If a person needs assistance or needs to report any crime or problem, police are always very accessible!

Of course, Chris likes their motorcycles!

We went to a REALLY nice restaurant with the kids.   Qing takes good care of us, and she takes good care of her students, helping them to have wonderful field trips and memories of high school!

One day, we walked up the steps of
Gele Mountain, with the students:

The students made it to the TOP, but we stopped at step 1,000  that day!

Another day, we visited a local Nursing Home, with class 3 students.

Each student gave each resident a shoulder and neck massage.  Qing is teaching her students to be compassionate.

We have so many wonderful kids.  Here are a few from other classes!
 There was another big
Exercise Competition
at our school.  Each class choreographed their own exercise routine, all to the same music.

These 2 students, Dream and Jolly, invited us to play Badminton with them one day!

We are still (too often) treated as celebrities, here.  (It will be a shock to be "just regular people", when we get back home!!!)

On this day, our regular school car was unavailable, and so they brought the two of us to the Hong Fan school campus in one of the school's big buses.

Just so you know:
We assume that the "Chennault  family" donated the money for this well, located on the Baishi Yi campus of our school.
Many THANKS  to them for an important donation to a developing country!
