Fun with Ma Yanfei, Caroline (from Chile), Felipe (from Italy), and Max (from Germany.) |
Qing and Melody were on the dinner cruise, too. There was a wonderful buffet, and incredible lights of downtown Chongqing.
Great Kids!
(participants in the AFS .....American Field Services...."exchange students abroad" program)
Ma Yanfei is the school administrator in charge of us (and the exchange students and teachers, each year.) We hope that she will be able to come and teach Chinese language and culture classes in the U.S.A. next year!!
The gal on the far left is Beverly, our supervising teacher at Hong Fan Junior School, where we teach on Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons.
(***Teachers these days seem younger and younger. Ma Yanfei is the age of our kids back home. Beverly is much younger!)
