Visit to Zunyi (part 4)

We visited a
Tea House in Zunyi.
Tea is a big part of the culture!

This friend of Jin's had recently traveled to New Zealand.

We met and talked with a most amazing 67-year-old English professor at the teachers' college here.  (Jin's former professor and good friend)  He has recently translated 2 Ancient Chinese Medicine books into English, and has 5 more to go!  Plus, he plans to write the autobiography of his (very interesting) life.

Jin with her (very nice!) husband, An.
Two "Moms" of Jin: American Mom and Chinese Mom !
Jin's Father and Father-in-law
Jin's ENTIRE family rented a room at a fancy restaurant and treated us to a marvelous dinner!

Notice the (usual) percentage of  HOT  PEPPERS !!

The Next Generation:  Jin's son, nephews, and niece.
Jin's family truly loved viewing our photos and videos of "Life and Family in America."
The next day, we visited Jin's family's apartment.  Jin, An, and their son, Felix, live with An's parents.
Felix, diligently doing his homework..... He is learning English!

Of course, we presented Felix with "The Story about Ping" and "Tikki-Tikki-Tembo,"  the same books about China that we had given to Billy in Xi'an and to Melody in Chongqing.
(We also gave these 2 special books to Maverick, Devlin, and Jaxson, and to Baby Veronica!)

We feel that we have 3 grandchildren in China!!!

The only heat in the apartment is from this coal-burning stove.
Jin's mother-in-law does the cooking.  She made marvelous noodle/vegetable soup.
Jin's father-in-law made three calligraphy posters for us to take home to America.
Next, we attended Jin's Yoga class.
Jin is a flexible, athletic little thing.
Oh, yes!  (You don't see ME doing this!)
