Historic Chongqing

On our days off from teaching,
we work our way down through the list of things to see and do in Chongqing.

Red Cliff Village and Revolutionary History Museum
Historic offices of the Communist and Kuomintang Alliance (against the Japanese, during WWII)

Entrance to Red Cliff Village
View (???) of the city of Chongqing
The Office of Chairman Mao
This would have to be one of the most famous offices EVER.
"People of the Revolution"
In the documents, there are plenty of references to "Democracy."
Document about Rationing
Cliff-side Bomb (Air-Raid) Shelter
There were some peaceful spots, too.
A cemetery for some of the Martyrs of the Revolution

Building site next to Red Cliff Village: The city of Chongqing is ever-changing.

We felt thankful that some very historic sites have been preserved.
