San Jiao, a small town (2)

The Community of San Jiao       ......The saddest thing about this small town is the polluted, diminished river, flowing right through the town.
The people who live here are welcoming and wonderful.

The four of us went down the hill to have a street-side beer, and within minutes, a big crowd of friendly faces surrounded us.

Watching the foreigners drink beer is apparently even better than TV.
Once again, we got involved in the nightly.....all across China.......community street dances.
This is an example of the "no diapers" policy.  ***At least, Chinese people are not filling land-fills with disposable diapers that will lay there for hundreds of years, trying to decompose..... Commendable!   We truly did not see parents or grandparents with ________ on their shirts...So, they must do a great job of anticipating "events."
We had an entourage of friendly escorts, as we walked through San Jiao at night.
Kevin and Andi had a little trouble with the Police....just kidding!

Mr. Liou gave us Mah Jong lessons, on another night.

Another amazing dinner, with Mr. Liou's family and friends.  We participated in "one-by-one" toasting!
