One of the highlights (for the kids) was to be the
"Six-Flags-style" Amusement Park:
The REALLY BIG problem with the amusement park was that 75% of the park closed down an hour after our arrival!
We had checked on the internet to find that it "closed at 10 pm", and so we timed our arrival so that we could stay later, for the light show. We arrived at 4 pm, paid the (huge) full-day price required, walked in, and then noticed that the roller coaster, all of the water rides, and MOST other rides, shut down at 5-6 pm.
THE BIG SHOT
Click here to watch the BIG shot !
One side went up slowly and then dropped. The other side shot up really fast.
Both were too "thrilling" for me! (***Chris was able to do the rides with the kids!)
This ride was Felipe's favorite! He did it 4 times! Notice that people are upside-down in this photo.....
Apparently, Chris is getting into the "Asian" style of waving! |
Because most of the rides were "finished", the lines were long for those still open. We waited an hour for a short ride in the Bumper Cars!
The acrobatics (and every other show) was "finished", too, upon our arrival. Disappointing....
For the guys, what was the best thing about the amusement park? The cute girls, who followed them around, taking photos of "the foreign guys." |
When we had first arrived, we were all photographed, as if we were celebrities.
Of course, the young, foreign kids were the most popular.....They were swarmed!
